Agfest Field day 3 sheep trial.

Sheep Dog Trials run for the 3 days of Agfest opposite the Dairy Feature at the eastern end of Main Street. You will see the best Tasmanian sheep dogs in action. The dogs, guided by their owners, encourage a small number of sheep to move in, through and over a number of typical farm obstacles. The obstacles can include ramps, gates and sheep pens. This is all happens under the watchful eye of the judges who are busy putting scores on paper. The action runs over the three days of Agfest with 23 handlers and 60 dogs working on both Thursday and Friday. The top 16 dogs then work Saturday.
